About Elsa Court

Elsa Court is a French-born, London-based writer and academic researcher. Her work has appeared in Granta, The White Review, The LA Review of Books, and The Financial Times. Her first monograph is about representations of the US highway by European writers, artists, and filmmakers, and is coming out this Winter with Palgrave.

Her short story “The Pincushion” was commended by the Bare Fiction Prize for Short Story 2017 and has since appeared in The Tangerine. She currently teaches American Literature at Queen Mary University of London.
